  • In 2012, the Electoral Commission engaged Telnet as its exclusive contact centre provider for the following services:

    • Telephone response service providing the general public with electoral-related information
    • Email response service on enrolment information
    • SMS response service for people to request an enrolment form
    • Mailing and fulfilment services sending enrolment and voting related information to the general public

    Telnet’s experience working with other government agencies has helped us to provide services for the Electoral Commission in a way that is consistent with its legislative framework and cognisant of the security of peoples’ personal information.

    Telnet has since successfully performed the contact centre work for the 2014 General Election, numerous by-elections, referendums on the New Zealand flag, and is performing this work for the upcoming 2017 General Election.
